External Data

This page describes the External Data feature of Comapping. Basically, this feature allows you to link link your map to an external data source. Then you will be able to organize and manipulate your data in Comapping while keeping the details in your application. Examples include:
  • Document collections
  • Bug tracking systems

Concepts

A map in Comapping can be linked to an external data source in a following way:
  • Each topic may have a reference to an external data item (external ID)
  • There is a Get Data operation to pull data from the external data source
  • There is a Send Data operation to send data to the external source
More details to be published soon.
